I knew when I bought this car that it would need new tires sooner than later.

Kinja'd!!!

I knew this because the “cheap” Pirellis on the car were well weather checked and decently worn.

What I did not know was the number of times these tires had been patched.

Upon buying the S I promptly picked up a nail in my passenger rear tire. I parched it and could not see any other repairs to that tire.

Several weeks later I picked up a different nail in the same tire. Then a few days later a bolt. Yes, an actuall bolt.

Two nights ago I got allerted to a low tire by my TPMS for the driver rear tire. I put air in it a drive to work the next morning. By the time I left work it was empty.

Today I pulled the tire and was surprised to find 3 prior repairs to that tire, plus a slit in the sidewall pictured above.

I decided to check the front tires now too, and found one repair in each. That’s 8 total repairs in 4 tires not including the sidewall that just happened.

So it’s new tire time.

Check your rim to see if it’s magnetic. Maybe it’s no coincidence you’re getting all sorts of junk attracted to that wheel

I had a bungie cord stuck in one of mine. One of these hooks punctured my tire and luckily I was about a block from a dealer. They removed the tire from the rim and had to cut the hook out. Craziest thing.
